Gurugram: InsuranceDekho, one of the leading insurtech platforms in the country today, has recently gone for a $70 mn funding round. Currently InsuranceDekho services 10.21 million customers across the country. What is even more creditable is that 21 new policies are issues on this platform every minute.
This round of funding was co-led by Beams Fintech Fund, Japan’s Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG) and insurer BNP Paribas Cardiff through its insurtech fund managed by European Investment major Eurazeo.
“This capital will enable us to expand our reach, enhance our tech-driven offerings and solidify our position as India’s go-to-insurancs platform,” claimed Ankit Agarwal, Founder & CEO, InsuranceDekho.
Strong words but InsuranceDekhi has backed it up with solid performance. Today it has achieved a footprints across 99% of India’s pin codes. It offers 720+ insurance products across categories like Motor, Health, Life and Corporate Business. It is supported by a network of 220k partners.
