Punjab Govt Transfers Six IAS Officers; IAS Vinay Bublani Made Commissioner, Patiala Division

Chandigarh: As part of a significant bureaucratic reshuffle, the government of Punjab has announced the transfer and fresh postings of six IAS officers. Among the key changes, IAS Vinay Bublani (2008 batch) has been appointed as Commissioner, Punjab’s Patiala Division.

Other notable appointments include:

• IAS Rajiv Prashar (2008 batch) has been given charge as Secretary, Punjab State Human Rights Commission.
• IAS Mohinder Pal (2008 batch) has been appointed Secretary, Industries and Commerce.
• IAS G.P.S. Sahota will take over as Executive Director of the Punjab Backward Classes Land Development and Finance Corporation.
• IAS Jitendra Jorwal (2014 batch), who had remained without a posting for nearly a month, has been appointed as the Taxation Commissioner.
• Similarly, IAS Girish Dayalan (2011 batch), who was transferred last week without an immediate reassignment, has been posted as Additional Commissioner Excise and Director General, School Education.
