New Delhi: NBCC (India) Limited has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Central University of Haryana for the construction of major infrastructure works worth Rs. 196.98 crore.
Under the agreement, NBCC will undertake the development of key facilities, including academic blocks, hostel accommodations for 630 female students and a multipurpose hall.
The initiative aims to significantly upgrade the university’s academic and residential infrastructure, fostering a better environment for learning and student life.
As the project management consultant (PMC), NBCC will be responsible for planning and executing the project, leveraging its experience in handling large-scale institutional and educational developments.
This collaboration reflects a continued push to strengthen higher education infrastructure in India and aligns with NBCC’s role as a central public sector undertaking (PSU) under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs.
Formerly known as the National Buildings Construction Corporation, NBCC operates across three key sectors: project management consultancy (PMC), engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC), and real estate development.
The project is expected to play a vital role in supporting academic excellence and student welfare at the Central University of Haryana.
