Bilaspur: In a significant move toward digital transformation, South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL) has launched a new Internal Selection Portal aimed at streamlining employee selection and promotion processes. The portal was officially unveiled by SECL Chairman-cum-Managing Director Harish Duhan during the General Managers’ Coordination Meeting held at SECL Headquarters in Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh.
Key features
Designed to improve transparency, efficiency, and employee empowerment, the portal introduces a secure and user-friendly platform that allows employees to register, submit, and track applications for internal selection opportunities. Key features include password-protected login, account registration, password reset, and a ‘My Applications’ tab for real-time status updates, making the selection process more accessible and transparent.
Key dignitaries present at the launch
The launch event was attended by senior SECL officials, including N. Franklin Jayakumar, Director (Technical/Operations); Biranchi Das, Director (HR); D. Sunil Kumar, Director (Finance); and Himanshu Jain, Chief Vigilance Officer. The initiative was developed with close coordination between SECL’s Systems and HR departments, along with active involvement from general managers across various operational areas.
