Tamil Nadu Govt Transfers 55 IAS Officers; IAS Rajendra Ratnoo Made Principal Secy

Chennai: The Tamil Nadu government has announced the transfer of 55 IAS officers, including nine district collectors. Among the notable changes, IAS Rajendra Ratnoo (2001 batch), previously serving on central government deputation, has been appointed as the principal secretary to the Government of Tamil Nadu.

Other notable transfers include

IAS S. Vijayakumar (1993 batch), previously Additional Chief Secretary, has taken charge as the Commissioner of Land Reforms.
IAS C. Samayamoorthy (2002 batch), previously serving as the Secretary of the Higher Education Department, has been moved to the Human Resource Management Department as Secretary.
IAS Dr. M. Vallalar (2003 batch) has been made Secretary, Social Reforms Department, tasked with steering inclusive development and social justice initiatives.
IAS Shilpa Prabhakar Satish (2009 batch) has been appointed as Secretary, Commercial Tax Department, an important position responsible for state revenue collection.
IAS D. Sneha (2017 batch) has been appointed as the new District Collector of Chengalpattu, one of the state’s most prominent and rapidly growing districts.
IAS P. Shankar, Managing Director, Tamil Nadu Textbook Corporation, has been posted as Secretary, Higher Education Department.
IAS Christodas, previously Tiruppur Collector, has been posted as Managing Director, Tourism Development Corporation.
IAS Grace Lalrindiki Pachuau, previously Perambalur Collector, has been appointed as Additional Secretary, Revenue Disaster Management Department.
IAS Uma, formerly Namakkal Collector, has been appointed as Additional Secretary, Special Projects Implementation Department.
IAS V.P. Jayaseelan, previously Virudhunagar Collector, has been appointed as Joint Commissioner, Chennai Corporation.
IAS Sangeetha, previously serving as Madurai District Collector, has been transferred as Director, Social Welfare Department.
