About the Project
Project Saksham is a flagship initiative under HURL’s Corporate Environmental Responsibility (CER) and aims to train 2,265 youth, women, and smallholder farmers from low-income families. The project will be rolled out in Gorakhpur (Uttar Pradesh), Begusarai (Bihar), and Dhanbad (Jharkhand), based on a detailed skill gap assessment involving community and stakeholder input.
Key Offerings
The program will offer training in sectors such as Banking and Financial Services, Retail, Electronics and IT, Agriculture and Food Processing, Competitive Exam Preparation, and Basic Computer Literacy.
The goal is to improve employability, create self-employment opportunities, and connect participants with government schemes and development platforms.
