Hyderabad: Shriram Life Insurance has joined hands with ESAF Small Finance Bank to expand access to life insurance in underserved and rural areas across India.Â
Under this partnership, ESAF Bank will act as a corporate agent for Shriram Life and distribute its insurance products through its wide branch network.
The collaboration focuses on reaching first-time insurance buyers, low-income families, and rural communities. Both organisations aim to promote financial inclusion by offering simple and relevant protection solutions tailored for those often excluded from traditional insurance services.
ESAF Bank, which received its banking license in 2017, currently operates 788 branches, 713 ATMs, and 1,095 customer service centres in 24 states and two Union Territories. It serves over 5.6 million customers with a strong emphasis on inclusive and socially responsible banking.
The partnership is expected to improve access to financial services and support long-term financial security in underserved regions.
