Pune: Krystal Integrated Services Limited (KISL), a leading integrated facility management company, has won a five-year contract worth Rs 370 crore from the Commissionerate of Social Welfare, Pune. The mandate, among the most socially impactful in Krystal’s government portfolio, covers mechanised housekeeping and outsourced manpower services across a wide network of welfare institutions in Maharashtra.
The project spans hostels, residential schools, welfare homes, training institutes and administrative facilities that serve thousands of students, senior citizens and vulnerable communities. By introducing professional facility management practices, Krystal aims to create safe, clean and dignified environments that improve living and learning conditions for beneficiaries.
The Commissionerate of Social Welfare manages one of the largest welfare ecosystems in India, comprising over 2,800 hostels, 93 residential schools, 19 Scheduled Ashram Schools and a residential school in Pune for the children of sweepers. It also oversees six Industrial Training Institutes, 34 Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Nyay Bhavans, 54 old age homes, as well as cooperative societies and spinning mills, while serving as a key access point for government welfare schemes.
