Chennai: The IIT Madras Pravartak Technologies Foundation, in partnership with BodhBridge Education, has launched two free online entrepreneurship training programs to promote entrepreneurial education among school and college students in India.
The initiatives, “From Students to Startups” for college students and professionals, and “Discover the Entrepreneur in You” for school students, aim to build foundational skills in problem-solving, creativity, leadership, and adaptability. Both programs will be delivered through live online sessions featuring industry experts, supported by course materials, case studies, and recorded lectures. The first batch will begin on November 1, 2025, with registrations open until October 28, 2025.
Officials from IITM Pravartak stated that the initiative seeks to bridge the existing gap in structured entrepreneurship education at the school and college levels, preparing students for an evolving job market increasingly driven by innovation and self-employment. Participants will also have the option to take a certification exam for a nominal fee, with certificates issued by IITM Pravartak based on performance.
The “From Students to Startups” course focuses on identifying market needs, building business models, understanding funding mechanisms, and exploring compliance and marketing strategies. Meanwhile, the school program introduces entrepreneurial thinking through interactive activities and real-world examples.
IITM Pravartak Technologies Foundation is a Section 8 company supported by the Department of Science and Technology under the National Mission on Interdisciplinary Cyber-Physical Systems and hosted by IIT Madras.
