Hyderabad: The Telangana government has announced a fresh round transfers, assigning new roles to eight Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers. Accordingly, IAS Ilambarathi, formerly Secretary for Metropolitan Area and Urban Development, has been transferred and posted as Transport Commissioner, relieving IAS M. Raghunandan Rao of the additional charge.
The details of other transfers and postings are as follows:
- IAS Sabyasachi Ghosh, Special Chief Secretary, Animal Husbandry, has been posted as Special Chief Secretary (Implementation of Flagship Welfare and Development Schemes Unit).
 - IAS Anita Ramachandran, Secretary, Women and Child Welfare Department, has been assigned Full Additional Charge (FAC) of Secretary, Tribal Welfare Department, and Commissioner, Tribal Welfare.
 - IAS E. Sridhar, Secretary, BC Welfare Department, has been given FAC as Secretary, General Administration Department (GAD).
 - IAS S.K. Yasmeen Basha, Director, Horticulture and Sericulture, has been given FAC as Managing Director, TGOILFED, replacing J. Shankariah, who has been transferred.
 - IAS G. Jitender, CEO, Adilabad Zilla Parishad, has been transferred and posted as Special Commissioner, Scheduled Castes Development (SCD), relieving N. Kshitija of additional charge. He will also hold FAC as VC & MD, Scheduled Castes Cooperative Development Corporation Limited.
 - IAS B. Saidulu, Secretary, MJPTBCWREIS, has been given FAC as Special Secretary (Implementation of Flagship Welfare and Development Schemes Unit).
 
The reshuffle aims to strengthen governance and improve coordination in implementing welfare and development schemes.
