Haryana Govt Reshuffles 20 IAS Officers; IAS Arun Kumar Gupta Appointed ACS, Urban Local Bodies Department

Chandigarh: The Government of Haryana has implemented a major administrative reshuffle, transferring 20 senior IAS officers. Among the senior officers, IAS Arun Kumar Gupta (1992 batch), currently Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, has now been appointed Additional Chief Secretary (ACS), Urban Local Bodies Department.

Other key appointments include

IAS Vijay Kumar Dahiya (2001 batch) gets an additional charge as Commissioner/Secretary, Sports Department, alongside his current role in Animal Husbandry.
IAS Amit Kumar Agarwal (2003 batch) has been assigned additional charge as Commissioner/Secretary, Heritage & Tourism Department, while continuing in Information, Public Relations & Culture.

IAS Phool Chand Meena (2004 batch), Commissioner & Secretary, Human Resources, will now also serve as CEO of Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA).
IAS J Ganesan, Director General, Housing for All & CEO of Faridabad Metropolitan Development Authority (FMDA), receives additional charge as MD of HARTRON and MD of Haryana Vidyut Prasaran Nigam.
IAS Ashok Kumar Meena, DG, Development & Panchayats, is now DG, Urban Local Bodies, and DG, Foreign Cooperation.
IAS Pankaj, DG Supplies & Disposals, will additionally serve as Secretary, Personnel, Training & Parliamentary Affairs, and as Inquiry Officer for Vigilance.
IAS Pardeep Kumar, Member-Secretary, Haryana State Pollution Control Board, now becomes Director, State Transport.
IAS Parth Gupta, DC, Yamunanagar, is now Director, Sports and MD, Haryana Tourism Corporation.
IAS Sangeeta Tetarwal, CEO, Ayushman Bharat Haryana Health Protection Authority, is posted as Director, New & Renewable Energy.
IAS Anish Yadav, DC, Hisar, is now Director, Development & Panchayats; Mahender Pal, MD, HARTRON, posted as DC, Hisar.
IAS Vikram Yadav, DC, Faridabad, becomes MD, Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam Ltd.
IAS Ayush Sinha is posted as DC, Faridabad.
IAS Pradeep Singh, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Nuh, is appointed Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Manesar.
IAS Preeti, DC, Kaithal, is reassigned as DC, Yamunanagar.
IAS Aparajita, Mission Director, Swachh Bharat Mission (Urban), becomes DC, Kaithal.

According to the state government, the reshuffle aims to place experienced officers in strategic departments and strengthen accountability across key sectors such as urban development, sports, tourism, energy, and public services.
