Shimla: The Himachal Pradesh government ordered the transfer of eight IAS officers, effecting changes across key administrative and departmental positions in the state.
Special Secretary (Personnel), IAS Gandharva Rathore, has been posted as Deputy Commissioner of Hamirpur, replacing IAS Amarjeet Singh, who has been transferred as Secretary (Cooperation). The move relieves IAS officer C Paulrasu of the additional charge of the department.
According to the official order, IAS officer Dalip Kumar Negi, who was awaiting posting, has been appointed Special Secretary (State Taxes and Excise), relieving IAS Harbans Singh Brascon of the additional charge. Negi will also hold additional responsibility as Special Secretary (Industries and Home).
IAS Divyanshu Singal, currently Additional Deputy Commissioner-cum-Project Director (DRDA), Shimla, has been posted as Managing Director of the Himachal Pradesh State Handicrafts and Handloom Corporation, while retaining additional charge as MD of the Himachal Pradesh Medical Services Corporation. He has been replaced by IAS Sachin Sharma as ADC-cum-PD (DRDA), Shimla.
IAS Netra Meti has been transferred as Commissioner of the Municipal Corporation, Palampur, while continuing as SDO (Civil), Palampur. IAS A Shainamol will additionally hold charge as Divisional Commissioner, Shimla division. IAS Vinod Kumar has been transferred as Secretary (Technical Education), with additional charge of Divisional Commissioner, Kangra division.
