Shimla: he Himachal Pradesh government ordered a reshuffle, assigning key additional responsibilities to IAS Ashish Singhmar.
A 2008-batch officer, Singhmar is currently serving as Secretary, Digital Technologies and Governance. He has now been given the additional charge of Secretary, General Administration Department (GAD), and Secretary, Human Rights Commission, Shimla.
Singhmar has earlier served as Secretary to the Chief Minister. Along with this role, he held additional charges as Secretary, Social Justice and Empowerment Department, Secretary, Social Welfare Department, and Secretary, Parliamentary Affairs.
The move places Singhmar in charge of key departments, consolidating important administrative and governance functions under his leadership as part of the state government’s latest administrative changes.
