Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh government is set to roll out Nivesh Mitra 3.0, an upgraded single-window clearance system.
The initiative aims to improve the ease of doing business by making approvals faster, more transparent, and investor-friendly, officials said.
The revamped platform is designed to strengthen the state’s investment ecosystem by simplifying procedures and reducing compliance burdens. Building on the earlier Nivesh Mitra 2.0, which brought multiple departments onto a unified interface, the new version rationalises services to fewer than 200 offerings across more than 40 departments.
Officials noted that this consolidation will eliminate duplication, improve coordination, and significantly speed up approvals.
A key feature of Nivesh Mitra 3.0 is the integration of advanced digital tools to enhance user experience. The system will include AI-powered chatbots for instant query resolution and real-time SMS alerts to keep applicants informed about the status of their proposals.
In a major procedural reform, a Combined Application Form will replace the need for multiple submissions, allowing investors to apply through a single interface. This is expected to reduce paperwork and make the application process more efficient.
The platform will also provide end-to-end online tracking of projects, covering stages from application and approval to implementation and commercial production, ensuring greater transparency and accountability.
Additionally, GIS-enabled land banks will help investors quickly identify suitable land parcels, reducing time spent on site selection. Integration with the National Single Window System is expected to further streamline approvals through better coordination between central and state agencies.
