Lucknow: In a major bureaucratic reshuffle, the Uttar Pradesh government has transferred nine IAS officers across various departments. According to the official notification, IAS Alok Kumar III has been entrusted with the additional charge of Principal Secretary of the IT and Electronics Department.
In this new role, Kumar will replace IAS Anurag Yadav, who has been appointed as the Principal Secretary of the Social Welfare and Sainik Welfare Department.
Kumar currently serves as the Principal Secretary of the Planning and Program Implementation Department. He is also serving as the nodal officer for Uttar Pradesh’s ambitious ‘One Trillion Dollar Economy and Zero Poverty’ campaign.
The list of other notable IAS transfers includes
IAS M. Devraj, currently serving as Principal Secretary, Appointments and Personnel Department, has been entrusted with an additional responsibility as Director General of the Uttar Pradesh Academy of Administration and Management.
IAS Saurabh Babu, presently the Principal Secretary, Rural Development and Rural Engineering Services Department, has been assigned additional charge as Director General of the Deendayal Upadhyay State Institute of Rural Development.
IAS Ravi Ranjan, previously serving as Managing Director of UP Electronics Corporation and UP Agro, has now been transferred as Special Secretary in the Medical, Health and Family Welfare Department.
IAS T.K. Shibu, presently Special Secretary in the Agriculture Production Commissioner Branch, has been given additional responsibility as Managing Director of UP Agro.
IAS Himanshu Kaushik, previously awaiting appointment, has now been posted as Managing Director of UP Electronics Corporation.
IAS Saumya Gururani, also awaiting posting until now, has been appointed Municipal Commissioner of Shahjahanpur Municipal Corporation.
IAS Dr. Bipin Kumar Mishra, who was serving as Municipal Commissioner of Shahjahanpur, has been transferred and appointed as Additional Managing Director of Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC).
