Ahmedabad, May 19 (APAC Media): The Gujarat government has announced a new round of IAS officer appointments and additional charge allocations. IAS Arvind V (2014 batch) has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the state’s finance department (budget).
In addition, he has been assigned the extra responsibility of Additional Commissioner of State Tax in Ahmedabad.Â
Additional Charges Assigned to IAS Officers include:Â
- IAS Ratankanvar H Gadhavi Charan (2009 batch), currently serving as Commissioner of Health (Rural), has been entrusted with the additional charge of Commissioner of the Nutrition Mission.
- IAS B A Shah (2009 batch), who was serving as Settlement Commissioner and Director of Land Records, has been transferred and appointed as Commissioner of Land Reforms and Ex-Officio Secretary.
- IAS Ardra Agarwal (2007 batch), Secretary in the General Administration Department, has been given the additional charge of Settlement Commissioner following the transfer of B A Shah.
- IAS Tusharkumar Bhatt (2010 batch) has been appointed as Commissioner of the Grievance Redressal Authority (GRA) under the Narmada, Water Resources, Water Supply and Kalpasar Department.
The reshuffle reflects the Gujarat government’s continued focus on strengthening administrative efficiency by assigning experienced IAS officers to key positions across departments.Â
