New Delhi, June 9 (APAC Media): Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan today handed over Letters of Approval (LoAs) to three globally reputed foreign universities from the United Kingdom and Australia to establish campuses in India.
The move aims to encourage the internationalisation of higher education in India.
The three foreign universities approved to establish campuses in India are:
- University of Bristol — Campus to be established in Mumbai

- University of New South Wales — Campus to be established in Bengaluru
The upcoming campuses are expected to offer academic and research programmes in emerging and future-focused fields such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Cyber Security, Data Science, Finance, Entrepreneurship, Creative Industries, Immersive Arts, Renewable Energy, Health, Transport, and Education Technology.
The initiative marks a major milestone in India’s efforts to strengthen its higher education ecosystem and position itself as a global knowledge hub.
