Bengaluru, June 8 (APAC Media): In a recent order, the Karnataka government has transferred six IAS officers across the state. IAS Munish Moudgil has been assigned the concurrent charge of the newly created post of Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister (Programme and Project Implementation), Bengaluru.
Currently, Moudgil is serving as Special Commissioner (Administration, Revenue and IT), Greater Bengaluru Authority, and has been given concurrent charge of the new post.
Moudgil is a 1998 batch IAS officer of the Karnataka cadre.
List of Other IAS Transfers:
- IAS Anjum Parwez (1994 batch) has been appointed as Additional Chief Secretary to Government, Forest, Ecology and Environment Department, Bengaluru.
- IAS Cauvery B. B. (2008 batch) has been appointed as Secretary, Urban Development Department (UD and Municipalities), Bengaluru.
- IAS Deepa Cholan (2008 batch), previously serving in the Urban Development Department, has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Transport Department, Bengaluru.
- IAS Venkatesh M V (2009 batch), previously serving as Secretary in the Planning, Programme Monitoring, and Statistics Department, has been transferred and posted as Registrar for Co-operative Societies, Bengaluru.
- IAS officer Selvanani R (2013 batch), who was serving as Managing Director of the Karnataka Urban Water Supply and Drainage Board, has been appointed as Commissioner for Transport and Road Safety, Bengaluru.
The bureaucratic reshuffle includes key administrative changes across several departments, along with the creation of a new position within the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) dedicated to strengthening programme and project implementation.
