Bengaluru, June 24 (APAC Media): Uttar Pradesh has attracted investment proposals exceeding Rs 50,000 crore after more than 15 companies signed Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) during an investor roadshow in Bengaluru.
The agreements were finalised at the Uttar Pradesh Global Growth Dialogue 2026, held in the presence of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who is leading a multi-city outreach programme to attract investments and transform Uttar Pradesh into a one trillion dollar economy.
Major Real Estate Commitments
A significant share of the proposed investments came from developers focused on industrial parks, business parks, and commercial infrastructure.
Horizon (Blackstone) announced plans to invest Rs 10,000 crore, while Embassy and Raheja Mindspace REIT committed Rs 5,000 crore each. Prestige Group proposed investments worth Rs 15,000 crore, and Sattva Developers outlined plans involving Rs 4,000 crore.
Shriram Properties also signed an MoU for the development of private industrial and business parks in Uttar Pradesh.
Focus on GCC Growth
The state also received fresh commitments in the rapidly expanding Global Capability Centre (GCC) sector.
Companies including LG, Aon, MetLife, and Table Space signed MoUs during the event. TeamLease entered into a non-financial partnership aimed at supporting skill development and talent creation for GCC operations in the state.
Officials said the initiative is expected to strengthen Uttar Pradesh’s workforce pipeline and improve its attractiveness as a GCC destination.
Investor Roundtables
During his Bengaluru visit, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held a series of closed-door discussions with investors, technology firms and industry leaders.
The meetings focused on urban infrastructure, IT-enabled services, GCC expansion and the state’s growing foreign direct investment (FDI) potential.
The Chief Minister highlighted Uttar Pradesh’s policy support, infrastructure expansion, and governance reforms as key factors driving investor confidence.
The government aims to develop 40 million square feet of Grade-A office space and establish 500 GCC units by 2031. Uttar Pradesh is also working towards securing a place among India’s top three destinations for foreign direct investment.
Talks with Google Cloud
On the sidelines of the event, the Chief Minister met senior officials from Google Cloud, including Chief Technology Officer Tarun Pant.
The discussions explored the use of artificial intelligence, cloud computing and data-driven technologies across governance, agriculture, MSME development, and the startup ecosystem.
