Noida, July 2 (APAC Media): Hero MotoCorp on Thursday announced a cumulative investment of over ₹3,200 crore in Andhra Pradesh and laid the foundation stone for its second Global Parts Centre (GPC) in Tirupati, marking a major expansion of its manufacturing and logistics footprint in the state.
The upcoming facility, being developed with an investment of over ₹750 crore, is aimed at strengthening the company’s global spare parts supply chain and supporting its electric mobility operations.
According to the company, the investment roadmap is designed to transform Tirupati into a future-ready manufacturing and logistics hub while reinforcing India’s position in the global automotive and EV ecosystem.
The Global Parts Centre will function as a key node in Hero MotoCorp’s domestic and international spare parts network.

The company noted that its electric vehicle portfolio is fully designed, engineered and manufactured at its Tirupati facility, which is expected to scale its annual production capacity to 1.2–1.5 million units in the next phase.
The expansion is projected to generate around 4,000 direct jobs, contributing to industrial growth in the Rayalaseema region.
The company said the investment aligns with the Government of India’s vision of Viksit Bharat 2047 and the Andhra Pradesh government’s SwarnAndhra roadmap.

Alongside the investment, the company announced two community initiatives in partnership with the state government.
These include a scholarship programme for meritorious engineering students across 28 districts, covering full tuition at state IIITs, and the deployment of VIDA electric scooters for women police personnel in Tirupati district, along with road safety training.
The company said the initiatives aim to promote technical education, women empowerment, and sustainable mobility in the region.
