Noida, July 2 (APAC Media): Rockwell Automation has appointed Arvind Kakru as regional vice president – Asia Pacific Lifecycle Services, the industrial automation executive said on Wednesday, after stepping down from Schneider Electric.
Kakru said the appointment marks “an important new chapter” in his career after spending the past several years at Schneider Electric, where he led the company’s One Automation transformation initiative.

“I’m excited to share that I have joined Rockwell Automation as Regional Vice President – Asia Pacific Lifecycle Services. This transition marks an important new chapter for me, one that comes with both excitement and reflection,” Kakru said in a LinkedIn post.
At Schneider Electric, Kakru was involved in bringing together three automation businesses under the One Automation strategy, aimed at creating a unified, customer-focused organisation while improving business performance.
“I close my chapter at Schneider Electric with deep gratitude. The last couple of years, especially shaping the One Automation journey, have been among the most fulfilling in my career,” he said.
“Bringing three diverse businesses into a unified, customer-focused organisation while driving growth and improving profitability” has been both challenging and immensely rewarding.
Kakru attributed the transformation to teamwork and collaboration.
“More importantly, it has been about the people, the passion, the collaboration, and the shared ambition to build something meaningful. I have had the privilege of working with exceptional teams, leaders, and colleagues, and those relationships are what I will value the most,” he added.
In his new role, Kakru will oversee lifecycle services across the Asia Pacific region for Rockwell Automation.
“As I step into this new role, I look forward to building on these experiences at a broader regional level across Asia Pacific. Transitions always come with a mix of gratitude and anticipation, and I carry forward both,” he expressed.
Kakru added that he was looking forward to rejoining colleagues at Rockwell Automation and contributing to the company’s next phase of growth.
“Excited to work again with a wonderful team at Rockwell Automation and excited about what lies ahead. Looking forward to building, learning, and creating impact in this next phase,” he said.
