New Delhi, July 21 (APAC Media): The Central Government has approved the appointments of Karnataka cadre officer IAS Rajendra KV (2013 batch) and Kerala cadre IAS officer Jeevan Babu K (2011 batch) to key positions in the Union Government under the Central Staffing Scheme.
The appointments were cleared by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT). Both officers will assume their new roles after being relieved by their respective state governments.
IAS Rajendra KV to Join Housing Ministry
Rajendra KV has been appointed Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA) for a four-year tenure, or until further orders.
He is currently serving as Managing Director of the Karnataka State Tourism Development Corporation (KSTDC).
IAS Jeevan Babu K Appointed Sports Director
Jeevan Babu K has been appointed Director in the Department of Sports under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports.
His appointment is for a five-year tenure, or until further orders. He is presently serving as Special Secretary, Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Government of Kerala.
The appointments are part of the Centre’s regular deputation process under the Central Staffing Scheme.
