New Delhi, August 3(APAC Media): Samsung has launched the Galaxy F70 Pro 5G in India, adding a new smartphone to its mid-range portfolio. The device will be available for purchase from August 3 through Flipkart and Samsung’s official online store, with prices starting at Rs 25,999.
The Galaxy F70 Pro 5G is available in three variants. The 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model is priced at Rs 25,999, while the 8GB + 128GB variant costs Rs 29,999. The top-end 8GB + 256GB version is priced at Rs 34,999. Samsung is also expected to announce bank offers that could reduce the effective purchase price.
The smartphone features a 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection. It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor, paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. The device runs Android 16-based One UI 8.5, and Samsung has promised six years of Android OS upgrades and security updates, a feature that remains uncommon in this price segment.
For imaging, the Galaxy F70 Pro 5G includes a 50MP primary camera with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS), a 5MP ultra-wide sensor and a 2MP macro camera. A 12MP front camera handles selfies, while the rear camera supports 4K video recording.
The smartphone packs a 6,000mAh battery with 45W wired fast charging support and comes in Alpha Black and Aura Green colour options. With long-term software support, a high-refresh-rate AMOLED display and a large battery, Samsung is positioning the Galaxy F70 Pro 5G to compete in the crowded sub-Rs 35,000 smartphone segment.
