Affine setting new benchmarks
Throughout 2021, Affine’s AI Centre of Excellence (AI CoE) applied its research and innovation acumen and won at renowned and globally recognized hackathons and competitions. At the Data Centric AI contest, Affine CoE achieved the top 1 percentile with its project on roman number classification using data centric AI approach given a fixed model. To accomplish this, Affine leveraged ResNet 50 Architecture, data cleaning, data augmentation, RCA, and data sampling expertise.
But that is not all. At the Flipkart Gridlock Hackathon, where Affine was the coveted winner, the company solved one of the most complex challenges faced by a city administration. With the help of Google and Bing map data extraction, image processing, and regression modeling, Affine suggested ways to break the Bangalore traffic conundrum.
The Data Centric AI Contest and Flipkart Gridlock Hackathon are just the tip of the iceberg. Through 2021, Affine participated and won a total of nine hackathons organized by renowned organizations like HackerEarth, eBay, Microsoft, and Kaggle. Affine’s AI CoE was recognized as the top 1 percentile at every single one of these competitions. The projects demonstrated at these competitions required Deep AI and Data skills. From producing supervised recipe food image classification to self-aware risk profiles, our AI CoE has tested itself against the toughest global benchmarks at these competitions and has come out with flying colors.
