New Delhi: Tech Mahindra announced a strategic collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS) recently to develop a cutting-edge sports cloud platform catering to enthusiasts on a global scale. It aims to deliver an all-encompassing digital platform designed for sports organisations.
This platform will include various use cases, including content and community engagement, customer data management, audience segmentation, and sports analytics, as detailed in a company statement.
The platform will provide immersive stadium-to-home fan experiences by leveraging the capabilities of augmented reality and virtual reality (AR/VR), along with metaverse gamification. The platform seeks to redefine how sports fans engage with their favourite teams and events.
The cloud offering will empower sports organisations to enhance the digital properties of sports teams and franchises, opening up avenues for the creation of new revenue streams by developing innovative services and features tailored to the evolving needs of the audience.
