New Delhi: In a recent administrative reshuffle, the Delhi government has transferred and assigned new roles to five IAS officers. Additionally, one officer received an additional charge and one was relieved from duty. This move will bring about changes in the Deputy Commissioner/DM positions across four districts.
- IAS officer Arun Mishra, previously the Deputy Commissioner/DM of North East district, has been transferred and appointed Deputy Commissioner at Headquarters. He is a 2010 batch officer of the AGMUT cadre.
- IAS officer Isha Khosla, currently serving as Deputy Commissioner/DM in the South East district, has been reassigned as Deputy Commissioner/DM in New Delhi. Khosla is a 2011 batch officer of the AGMUT cadre.
- IAS Vikram Singh Malik, a 2012 batch officer currently posted as the Special Secretary in the Home Department, has been posted as the Deputy Commissioner/DM in the North East district.
- IAS G Sudhakar, a 2012 batch IAS officer awaiting posting orders, has been posted as Deputy Commissioner/DM in Central district.
- IAS Santosh Kumar Rai, also a 2012 batch officer and former Deputy Commissioner/DM in New Delhi, has been reassigned as the Deputy Commissioner/DM in South East district.
- IAS officer Awanish Kumar, currently serving as the Deputy Commissioner/DM in the Central district, has been relieved from the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi (GNCTD). According to a transfer order issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs on December 21, he will report to the Lakshadweep Administration. Kumar is a 2014 batch officer of the AGMUT cadre.
- IAS Ashish Kundra, from the 1996 batch, has been given the additional charge of Principal Secretary to the Lieutenant Governor, succeeding IAS Chandra Bhushan Kumar (1995:AGMUT). Kundra was serving as the Principal Secretary-cum-Commissioner for Transport with an additional charge of the Principal Secretary for Irrigation and Flood Control (I&FC).
- IAS officer Chandra Bhushan Kumar, the outgoing Principal Secretary to the Lieutenant Governor, has been appointed the Additional Secretary and Mission Director for the Jal Jeevan Mission within the Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation. Kumar was relieved from his position on January 16.
