Dr Raj Singh is currently the VC at Jain University. He has over 40 years of experience including all domains of education and academic administration. He has also served the Indian Air Force for a tenure of over 13 years.
Dr Singh urged edtech companies to work closely with universities. Edtech companies cannot help universities unless they do not work from the campuses itself. At Jain University, we have introduced different technology-enabled degrees that will make students more industry ready.From current students to alumni, there has been an effort to tackle challenges using a multi-faceted approach.
Our skilling partners have supported us in facilitating seamless live online sessions for remote learners and working professionals. In fact our endeavour to re-skill and upskill our alumni too has been an innovative approach.
We at Jain University develop relationships with the industries, with the CHROs for project consulting and framing. We subsequently send students for internships and many of them get pre-placement offers because of the work they do during the internship.
