New Delhi: HFCL Ltd recently announced that it has successfully secured an order of INR 1,127 crore from Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) for the transformation of the Optical Transport Network (OTN) infrastructure across BSNL’s nationwide network.
The network upgrade by HFCL aims to not only meet the demands of enterprise and FTTH/broadband services but also to strategically position BSNL for future endeavours, facilitating the seamless launch of 4G services and preparing for the anticipated arrival of 5G services in the coming years.
In an official release, HFCL revealed that the company has secured the order specifically for the transformation of BSNL’s Optical Transport Network. The release highlighted HFCL’s expertise in integrating complex systems and its strategic partnership with NOKIA Network to implement state-of-the-art optical technology.
