New Delhi: German enterprise software giant SAP has announced the promotion of Kulmeet Bawa, currently serving as President and Managing Director of SAP Indian Subcontinent, to the role of Global Chief Revenue Officer for the company’s business technology platform.
During the transition, Bawa will continue to lead SAP India until February. The company has assured that a new leader for SAP India will be named during this period, according to an official statement.
In his expanded role, Bawa will be tasked with driving the growth and global adoption of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), overseeing key areas such as artificial intelligence, data and analytics, automation, and integration.
Paul Marriott, President of SAP Asia Pacific Japan, commended Bawa’s leadership, noting SAP India’s commendable progress under his guidance.
Bawa’s impressive track record includes leadership roles in renowned technology companies such as Adobe, Microsoft, and Sun Microsystems. The elevation of Kulmeet Bawa reflects SAP’s commitment to harnessing experienced leaders to drive global growth and innovation.
