Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government recently transferred and posted four IAS officers to new roles across various districts. The transfers are effective from February 28. Following are the names and news posts of the officers:
- IAS officer Ashish Thakare, a 2011 batch IAS officer who served as the Collector of Mayurbhanj, has been reassigned as the Collector of Balasore. He replaces IAS Dattatraya Bhausaheb.
- IAS officer Dattatraya Bhausaheb, a 2016 batch IAS officer, has been assigned the role of Collector of Mayurbhanj.
- IAS officer Siddharth Shankar Swain, a 2014 batch IAS officer and the former Commissioner of Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) has been appointed as the new Collector of Puri district.
- IAS officer Bijay Kumar Dash, a 2012 batch IAS officer, previously serving as the Collector of Puri, now takes over as the CMC Commissioner.
