3rd Phase of Lok Sabha Election 2024 sees 60.19% turnout till 5 pm

New Delhi: The third phase of the Lok Sabha Election 2024 saw a voter turnout of 60.19 per cent by 5 pm on Tuesday, May 7, 2024. Polling took place in 93 constituencies across 11 states and union territories in this phase in today’s voting, including Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Dadar & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu, Goa, Gujarat, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, and West Bengal.

Assam, Goa, and West Bengal stood out with the highest voting percentages at 74.86%, 72.52%, and 73.93% respectively. Voting started at 7 am and continued till 6 pm.

Following is a state-wise voter turnout recorded until 5 pm:

• Assam: 74.86%
• West Bengal: 73.93%
• Goa: 72.52%
• Chhattisgarh: 66.87%
• Karnataka: 66.05%
• Dadar and Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu: 65.23%
• Madhya Pradesh: 62.28%
• Bihar: 56.01%
• Gujarat: 55.22%
• Uttar Pradesh: 55.13%
• Maharashtra: 53.40%
