New Delhi: Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (CDAC) Thiruvananthapuram, under the InTranSE program of the Ministry of Electronics & IT (MeitY), has successfully transferred indigenous thermal camera technology to Aditya Infotech (CP Plus).
The thermal smart camera features an inbuilt Data Processing Unit (DPU) for AI-based analytics. It underwent thorough field testing and validation, especially for road traffic applications, and is now ready to be used for various applications across Smart cities, Industries, Defence, and Health sectors.
To enhance awareness, a booklet was launched, showcasing different ITS (Intelligent Transportation System) technology/products/solutions developed under the InTRanSE program of MeitY. It includes innovations for traffic control, public transit, road safety, and traffic application sensors.
The exchange of technology transfer documents occurred in the presence of the Secretary of MeitY S Krishnan; Bhuvnesh Kumar, the Additional Secretary of MeitY; Professor H P Khincha; Sunita Verma, Group Coordinator Research and Development (GC R&D) in Electronics and Information Technology (E&IT), MeitY; senior officials in the Government, CEO and CTO of Industries.
