Chennai: MediSim VR has launched Chennai’s first Virtual Reality (VR)-based Center of Excellence (CoE) for medical training at Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research (SRIHER). This facility offers immersive and interactive VR training for medical students nationwide.
The CoE features state-of-the-art VR technology, providing realistic medical scenario simulations in a safe and controlled environment. MediSim VR has benefited over 4,000 students by offering hands-on medical training that bridges the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application.
The new center at SRIHER aims to enhance procedural competency, skills, and confidence among medical students. It redefines medical education by integrating VR-based learning, empowering students from across the state and country to refine their skills and improve patient outcomes.
