Srinagar:Â The government of Jammu and Kashmir (UT) has announced the transfer of 89 bureaucrats across the state. The transfer orders were issued through an official circular of Jammu and Kashmir General Administrative Department (GAD).
Devansh Yadav, an IAS officer of the 2016 batch has been appointed as the Commissioner of the Jammu Municipal Corporation. He will also hold the additional charge of CEO, SPV Jammu City for the implementation of the Smart City Project.
Other notable transfers include:
- Shakeel Ul Rehman, an IAS officer of the 2013 batch, has been appointed as the Director of Floriculture, Parks, and Gardens in Kashmir. He was previously posted as the Deputy Commissioner of Bandipora.
- Majid Khalil Ahmad Drabu, an IAS officer of the 2013 batch, has been transferred and posted as the Mission Director of the Integrated Child Protection Scheme (ICPS). He last served as the Controller in the Legal Metrology Department.
- Sheikh Arshad Ayub, an IAS officer of the 2013 batch, who previously served as the Inspector General of Registration, has been posted as the Director of Libraries.
- Rahul Yadav, an IAS officer of the 2014 batch has been made Director of the Holistic Agriculture Development Program (HADP), and Special Secretary in the Agriculture Production Department. He was previously posted as the Commissioner of the Jammu Municipal Corporation. He also held an additional charge of CEO of the Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) of Jammu City for the implementation of the Smart City Project.
- Ch. Mohd Yasin, an IAS officer of the 2015 batch, has been given the charge of Managing Director of Jammu Power Distribution Corporation Limited. In addition, he will also hold the post of Managing Director of Jammu and Kashmir Power Corporation Limited until further orders. He previously served as the Deputy Commissioner of Poonch.
