Jharkhand govt. transfers two dozen IAS officers in a major bureaucratic reshuffle

Ranchi : The Jharkhand government recently transferred 24 IAS Officers across the state. The list of transferred officers includes, among many, the Principal Secretary of the Governor, IAS Nitin Madan Kulkarni. He is an IAS Officer of the 1995 batch and has been replaced by IAS Officer Vipra Bhal of the 2006 batch. Kulkarni has been appointed Principal Secretary in the Department of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Cooperative Department.

Other officers who have been transferred include:

Mast Ram Meena, earlier Principal Secretary in the Department of Planning and Development, has been given an additional charge as the Principal Secretary in the Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation.
Sunil Kumar, an IAS Officer of the 1997 batch will hold the additional charge as Principal Secretary in the Department of Urban Development and Housing, Managing Director of JUICO, and Managing Director of the Greater Ranchi Development Agency (GRDA). He was last posted as the Principal Secretary in the Road Construction Department.
Amitabh Kaushal has been appointed Secretary of the Information Technology and E-Governance Department. He will also continue to hold the additional charge of Secretary in the Department of Commercial Tax in Ranchi, Jharkhand.
Manish Ranjan has been given the charge of Director of the Administrative Training Institute in Ranchi. He is an IAS Officer of the 2002 batch.
Rajesh Kumar Sharma has been appointed the Secretary of the Disaster Management Department.
Abu Bakr Siddiqui, an IAS Officer of the 2010 batch became Secretary of the Forest, Environment and Climate Change Department.
Manoj Kumar, previously the Secretary of the Child Development and Social Security Department, will continue holding the additional charge of Secretary, Excise and Prohibition Department.
Arwa Rajkamal took charge as Secretary in the Building Construction Department. He is also charged with the additional duty of Managing Director, Jharkhand State Building Construction Corporation Limited, and Resident Commissioner, Jharkhand Bhawan, New Delhi.
Jitendra Kumar Singh, who serves as the Secretary in the Department of Mines and Geology has also been given additional charge of Secretary in the Industries Department.
Uma Shankar Singh, an IAS Officer of the 2009 batch, will hold the additional charge of secretary-in-charge of the Food, Public Distribution and Consumer Affairs Department. He is presently serving as the Secretary of the School Education and Literacy Department.
Amit Kumar has been posted as Commercial Tax Commissioner.
Manjunath Bhajantri has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of the Jharkhand State Livelihood Promotion Society (JSLPS) and also the MNREGA Commissioner.
Amit Prakash has been given the additional charge of Excise Commissioner. He will continue to perform his duties as Managing Director, Jharkhand State Beverage Corporation.
Sandeep Singh took charge as the new Municipal Commissioner of Ranchi Municipal Corporation. He will continue to serve as the additional charge of Vice-Chairman, Ranchi Regional Development Authority (RRDA).
Shailendra Kumar Lal has been appointed as the Mission Director-cum-Chief Executive Officer of the Jharkhand Skill Development Mission Society.
Sunil Kumar Singh has become the Additional Secretary in the Department of Labour, Planning, Training and Skill Development.
