New Delhi: The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has announced a women-only Generative AI Learning Challenge, set to take place from August 10 to September 9, 2024. The initiative, organized in collaboration with Intel, is designed to empower women in technical education by enhancing their skills in artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML).
The challenge is open to women students, faculty, and professionals across India, offering them an opportunity to deepen their understanding of generative AI technologies. Participants will engage in a series of training sessions, workshops, and hands-on projects aimed at building expertise in AI-driven innovation. AICTE’s initiative aligns with its broader mission to promote diversity and inclusion in technical education, particularly in emerging fields like AI and ML. The council has emphasized the importance of equipping women with the necessary skills to contribute to and lead in the rapidly evolving technology landscape.
The AICTE-Intel Generative AI Learning Challenge also aims to inspire participants to apply their knowledge in real-world scenarios, fostering innovation and collaboration. Successful participants will receive certificates and have the opportunity to showcase their projects to industry experts.
