Bhopal : The Madhya Pradesh government has undertaken a significant administrative reshuffle, transferring 47 IAS and IPS officers across various districts of the state. This move is part of an ongoing effort to optimize governance and address emerging administrative needs.
As part of this reshuffle:
- – DC Sagar, a 1992-batch IPS officer, has been appointed as the Additional Director General of Police (ADG) at the Police Headquarters (PHQ) in Bhopal.
- – Dinesh Jain, a 2011-batch IAS officer and currently the Neemuch Collector, has been made the Additional Secretary of Panchayat and Rural Development. Himanshu Chandra (2015-batch), currently the Additional Collector in Bhopal, will replace Jain as the Neemuch Collector.
- – Kedar Singh, a 2012-batch IAS officer, will replace Tarun Bhatnagar (2012-batch) as the Shahdol Collector. Harsh Singh (2015-batch) will take over from Vikas Mishra (2013-batch) as the new Collector of Dindori.
- – Girish Kumar Mishra (2013-batch) has been transferred from Balaghat to serve as the new Collector of Rajgarh. Harshal Pancholi (2015-batch) will be the new Collector of Anuppur, succeeding Ashish Vashisht (2014-batch).
- – Somesh Mishra (2013-batch) has been appointed as the new Collector of Mandla, replacing Saloni Sidana (2014-batch). Roshan Kumar Singh (2015-batch) will take over as the new Collector of Vidisha, replacing Buddhesh Kumar Vaidya (2014-batch).
- – Mrinal Meena, a 2015-batch IAS officer, has been appointed as the new Collector of Balaghat.
Additionally, the Superintendents of Police (SPs) in several districts, including Mandsaur, Balaghat, Anuppur, Pandhurna, Mauganj, and Sheopur, have been replaced.
These changes are expected to bring fresh perspectives to the respective districts and strengthen the overall administrative machinery in Madhya Pradesh.
