Mumbai: The National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) has launched a new feature called UPI Circle, designed to enhance digital payment accessibility for individuals who depend on others for financial management.
The new UPI Circle feature from the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) aims to increase the accessibility of digital payments. It is anticipated that this feature will help people who rely on others to handle their financial management. The main objective is to create a common platform that facilitates and improves transactions between people who may not necessarily have their bank accounts. These people can be acquainted with one another. With the help of this platform, trusted parties like friends, family, coworkers, and acquaintances will be able to transact money easily and securely.
Every secondary user is required to use passcodes or biometric validations such as fingerprint or facial recognition to strengthen security measures and ensure the integrity of all financial transactions. In terms of linking, primary users can link with secondary users by using techniques like scanning a QR code or entering the UPI ID of the secondary user. Selecting the secondary user’s contact directly from the primary user’s phone enhances this process even more.
