New Delhi: The Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena has announced the transfers of more than 30 IAS Officers. The move has been taken to address the vacancies in important departments such as health, education, revenue, and excise.
As per the official orders, IAS Nikhil Kumar (2002 batch) has been appointed as the Principal Secretary (Revenue) cum Divisional Commissioner.
Other notable transfers include:
IAS Rajnish Kumar Singh has been appointed as the Additional Secretary to the Delhi Chief Minister.
IAS Shilpa Shinde, previously the Managing Director of Delhi Transport Corporation, has been now appointed as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Delhi Jal Board.
IAS Ravi Jha has been made Excise Commissioner of Delhi.
IAS Veditha Reddy (2015 batch) has taken over as the Director of the Education Department.
IAS Nazuk Kumar (2016 batch) has become the Additional Director of the Education Department.
IAS Shreya Singhal (2020 batch) will also be the Additional Director of the Education Department.
IAS Ravi Dhawan has been appointed as the Managing Director of the Delhi State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (DSIIDC). He will replace Sanjeev Kumar Mittal from the post, who has now been appointed as the Special Commissioner in the Road Safety Cell.
IAS BS Jaglan will be the new Executive Director of DSIIDC.
IAS SM Ali has been given charge as the Special Secretary in the Urban Development Department.
IAS D Varma has been assigned the role of Member of the Delhi Urban Shelter Improvement Board.
IAS Vinay Kumar, currently the Special Secretary in the health department will also take on additional duties in the home department.
