Mumbai: Essar Power has announced the appointment of Rajat Gupta as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO). His expertise in the energy sector is expected to drive Essar’s expansion in thermal and renewable energy portfolios. In addition, he will play a key role in promoting the company’s financial strategies for a sustainable future.
Gupta brings over three decades of experience in infrastructure, telecom, thermal, and renewable sectors. He has a strong track record in managing the financial operations of PE-backed entities, startups, and large projects. Before joining Essar Power, he worked as the CFO at Avaada Energy. He has also served as CFO at Sprng Energy and Ostro Energy Private Limited.
