Ahmedabad: The Adani Group and Google have announced a partnership to advance sustainability and expand clean energy initiatives in India. As part of the collaboration, Adani will provide industries with renewable energy solutions from a new solar-wind hybrid project based in Khavda, Gujarat. This initiative also aligns with Google’s goal of achieving consistent carbon-free energy, ensuring that its cloud services and operations in India are powered by clean energy.
The project is scheduled to begin its commercial operations in the third quarter of 2025. According to the Adani Group, this project is a part of the group’s future strategy to expand its focus on the merchant and commercial and industrial (C&I) segments. The group aims to drive the decarbonization of industries across India and reduce their carbon footprint through customized solutions.
