New Delhi: Apollo Hospitals is gearing up for a large-scale expansion across India, adding 3,512 beds at 11 new and existing locations over the next four years. The healthcare provider plans to invest around Rs 6,100 crore in this project, aiming to meet rising healthcare demands in urban centers.
In Mumbai, Apollo has signed an agreement to set up a 500-bed hospital in Worli, alongside a new 600-bed facility planned for Chennai’s Old Mahabalipuram Road. The expansion also reaches cities like Varanasi, Lucknow, and Gurugram, bringing much-needed healthcare services closer to people.
Other planned locations include Pune, Hyderabad, Kolkata, and Delhi. According to Apollo’s Managing Director Suneeta Reddy, the company’s goal is to expand access to quality healthcare across different regions in India.
Apollo has already put in more than Rs 1,700 crore towards land and development costs to get these projects underway. This investment signals a significant step toward strengthening healthcare infrastructure in the country.
