Noida: Noida-based Addverb Technologies, backed by Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance Industries, is set to launch one of India’s first-ever humanoid robots in 2025. This ambitious project marks a significant milestone for India’s robotics industry and aligns with the growing global emphasis on artificial intelligence and robotics.
The humanoid robots will be equipped to perform diverse tasks across industries, including retail, energy, healthcare, and manufacturing. Designed to closely mimic human movements and capabilities, these robots aim to improve operational efficiency and create a more immersive human-machine interaction experience. The robots will feature advanced GPU technology, energy-efficient actuators, and dual-arm capabilities. This will allow them to navigate various terrains and perform complex tasks. Visual and Language Action (VLA) technology will also be integrated for their autonomous operation.
The launch will feature around 100 robots developed at Addverb’s Noida facility, showcasing India’s push toward becoming a global leader in robotics. According to Sangeet Kumar, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Addverb Technologies, this innovation will enable Indian enterprises to compete with international players in the humanoid robotics sector, including those backed by tech giants like Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos.
Mukesh Ambani’s investment in Addverb Technologies reflects his broader strategy of integrating advanced technology with traditional industries.
