Telangana: Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL) has appointed G Gayatri Prasad as Director (Finance). He brings over 27 years of expertise in financial management and strategy.
Prasad, a Commerce graduate from Nagarjuna University and an Associate Member of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India, has built an illustrious career since joining BDL in 1997 as a Management Trainee. He previously served as General Manager (Finance) and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at the company, where he showcased his proficiency in critical financial functions.
Throughout his tenure, Prasad has gained extensive experience in key areas such as accounting, taxation, investment analysis, budgeting, costing, and working capital management. His ability to evaluate financial proposals and manage resources effectively has been instrumental in strengthening BDL’s financial systems during periods of growth and transition.
His appointment comes at a pivotal time for BDL, as the defense manufacturing company is focused on expanding its operations and refining its financial strategy. A critical player in India’s defense sector, BDL is aiming to bolster its role in the industry under Prasad’s financial stewardship.
