New Delhi: Suranjan Choudhury has been appointed as the Head of Customer Engineering for Telecom, ITeS (IT-enabled Services), and GCC (Global Capability Centers) at Google. Based in India, he brings extensive experience from the telecom, media, and IT sectors, along with a deep understanding of cloud computing and technology strategy. In his new role, Suranjan will lead transformative initiatives, helping Google’s telecom and ITeS clients leverage the company’s cloud offerings to enhance customer experiences, optimize operations, and implement innovative, scalable solutions.
Suranjan joins Google after nearly four years at Amazon Web Services (AWS), where he led the Solution Architecture team for Telecom, Media, and Entertainment. He spearheaded key initiatives to drive client adoption of cloud solutions, delivering improved business outcomes. His career also includes leadership positions at Microsoft, where he worked on technology strategy and innovation, further solidifying his credentials in cloud architecture and customer engineering.
With his vast expertise, Suranjan is expected to play a pivotal role in driving innovation and helping clients in the telecom, ITeS, and GCC sectors meet evolving industry demands.
