UP Govt. Reshuffles 31 IAS Officers; IAS Suryapal Gangwar & IAS Rakesh Kumar Singh Made Secy to CM

Lucknow: Under a major bureaucratic reshuffle, the Uttar Pradesh Government has announced the transfers and fresh postings of 31 Indian Administrative Officers (IAS). According to the official notification, IAS Suryapal Gangwar, currently the Lucknow District Magistrate (DM), and IAS Rakesh Kumar Singh, Kanpur Nagar District Magistrate, have both been promoted to the role of Secretaries to the Chief Minister.

Other notable transfers include:

IAS Satyendra Kumar, currently the District Magistrate of Barabanki has been appointed Special Secretary.
IAS Visakh G., presently District Magistrate of Aligarh has been now reappointed as the District Magistrate of Lucknow.
IAS Rishikesh Bhaskar Yashod, previously the Divisional Commissioner of Saharanpur, has been now made Divisional Commissioner of Meerut.
IAS Shailendra Kumar Singh, currently the District Magistrate of Mathura has been promoted to the role of Divisional Commissioner of Agra.
IAS Sangeeta Singh, presently the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the National Health Insurance Scheme, has taken charge as the Divisional Commissioner of Aligarh.
IAS Selva Kumari J. Raja has been appointed as the Secretary of the Planning Department and Director General (DG) of the Directorate of Economics and Statistics (UPDES).
IAS Narendra Prasad Pandey, the current Secretary of the Planning Department and DG of UPDES has been made a member of the Judicial, Revenue Board in Prayagraj
IAS Ritu Maheshwari, currently the Commissioner of Agra division, has been transferred and posted as the Secretary of Medical, Health, & Family Welfare Department.
IAS Chaitra V, presently Aligarh Divisional Commissioner, has been moved to the Youth Welfare Department. In her place, IAS Sangeeta Singh has been appointed as the new Commissioner of Aligarh.
IAS Archana Verma, Special Secretary of the Medical, Health, & Family Welfare, has now become the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the National Health Insurance Scheme.
IAS Deepak Meena has been appointed as the DM of Ghaziabad.
IAS Vijay Kumar Singh has been made DM of Meerut.
IAS Kritika Joshi has taken charge as the Special Secretary of the Revenue Department.
IAS Nagendra Pratap has been assigned the role of Additional CEO of Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority.
