Bengaluru: Hindustan Aeronautics Limited’s (HAL) premier training institute, HAL Management Academy (HMA), has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Defence Institute of Advanced Technology (DIAT), Pune, an institution under Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), to enhance collaboration between industry and academia. The partnership aims to drive technological advancements and strengthen research in the aerospace sector.
The MoU was signed by Dr. G Srikantha Sharma, Executive Director, HMA, and Dr. BHVS Narayana Murthy, Vice Chancellor, DIAT, in the presence of Dr. D K Sunil, Chairman and Managing Director, HAL, along with senior officials from both institutions.

HAL executives will have the opportunity to pursue master’s and Ph.D. programs at DIAT.
