Bengaluru: Under a minor bureaucratic reshuffle in the state, the Karnataka government has issued transfer and posting orders for four Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers.
As per the official notification, IAS Munish Moudgil (1998 batch), last serving as the Commissioner of Survey Settlement & Land Records in Bengaluru, has been transferred and posted as the Principal Secretary to the Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms (Administrative Reforms), Bengaluru.
Other transfers and fresh postings include:
IAS Basavarajendra H (2012 batch), previously holding the post of Joint Secretary in the Department of Skill Development, Entrepreneurship and Livelihood, Bengaluru, has been now appointed as the Commissioner for Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments, Bengaluru.
IAS CN Sreedhara also from the 2012 batch, who served as the Additional Director at the Department of Survey Settlement and Land Records, Revenue Department, Bengaluru, has been made the new Commissioner of Survey Settlement & Land Records in Bengaluru.
IAS Bharathi D (2013 batch), currently awaiting posting, has now been appointed as the Commissioner for Tumkuru Municipal Corporation, Tumkuru.
These appointments and transfers are part of the Karnataka government’s continued efforts to improve administrative efficiency and strengthen the state’s bureaucracy.
