Chandigarh: In a recent administrative reshuffle, IAS Ramvir (2009 batch) has been assigned the additional charge of Secretary, Information and Public Relations (IPR), Punjab. Currently serving as the Secretary of the Punjab State Agricultural Marketing Board, Ramvir will now oversee the state’s public relations and communication strategies as well.
His appointment as Administrative Secretary, IPRD, signifies the government’s efforts to streamline key departments and enhance governance efficiency. Known for his administrative acumen, Ramvir’s expanded role reflects his growing influence in Punjab’s bureaucracy.
As Secretary, IPR, he will be responsible for managing government communication, media outreach, and public engagement initiatives. His expertise in handling multiple portfolios is expected to strengthen the department’s operations and improve the state’s public relations framework.
