Sivasagar: IAS K N Chandana Jahnavi (2024 batch), belonging to the Assam-Meghalaya cadre, has been appointed as Assistant Commissioner in Sivasagar district, Assam, as part of her district training.
The posting of IAS K N Chandana Jahnavi follows her successful completion of Phase I of the IAS Professional Course at the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA), Mussoorie.
Originally from Hyderabad, Telangana, Jahnavi holds a degree in chemical engineering from BIT Mesra and an MBA from IIM Indore. Prior to joining the Indian Administrative Service, she worked with Deloitte India (US offices) as a solution advisor specialising in regulatory and operational risk.
Her posting in Sivasagar marks the beginning of her hands-on administrative journey, offering her direct exposure to grassroots governance and district-level functioning. Jahnavi’s diverse academic and professional background is expected to bring valuable perspectives to her role as she steps into the crucial field phase of her IAS career.
